And in 53 minutes my pick to win the Aussie Open was dismissed.
I guess some days you don't feel it. Ok, she's aloud to have one crazy match a year - I just don't like that it came here or that it's so early in the year.
Kim's previous worst loss came at the hands of Serena Williams in Miami about a million years ago, 60 62. Tonight Nadia Petrova handed her a 60 61 loss.
I bet Jada helped to wiped away the disappointment.
As a big fan of hers (I stayed up to watch this mess) I can't recall ever seeing her so sloppy or cranky. But who wouldn't be cranky when you're down 60 30 and realize at that point you've only won 6 points as opposed to 31 for Nadia.
The crowd went crazy when she won her game trying to pull her level up and for a second you thought she might turn it around, after all Justine came back earlier in the day from a set down and 1-3.
It was not to be - #19 Nadia (a former #3) was not to let up. She'll next play #3 Svetlana Kuznetsova to see who advances to the quarterfinals.
