Ernests Gulbis d. Leonardo Mayer - 76(2) 64 - Delray Beach QF
Back on Feb 8 I wrote an entry about Gulbis not fulfilling the promise so many have been expecting from the young Latvian for some time.
Well well... I must be good luck..
Since my post nearly three weeks ago Ernests has been to 2 straight semifinals. Last week he lost to eventual champion Sam Querrey in Memphis and tomorrow he faces Jarkko Nieminen in Delray Beach. He carries a 1-0 head-to-head lead into that match.
I'm feeling a final for him on Sunday.
