It was the battle of two guys who are having resurrugent seasons.
Well, it turned out to be less a battle and more a beating.
After years of promise Tomas finally moves into his first Slam semifinal.
Oddly enough after 7 years of Slamming this was only his 2nd quarterfinal.
He will face giant killer Robin Soderling in the semis - H2H: 4-3/Soderling.
Tomas won their last meeting quite easily this March in Miami - 62 62.
