Here is a sad confession: I watched most (if not all) the TV coverage at the Sony Ericsson Open. And it seemed that every single time they came back from a commercial break they were blaring Rihanna's latest hit single S&M. Now, I'll tell you freely that I like this song - hell, it even has a home on my iTunes but why on earth are they thumping this song during almost every change-over? If I'm a parent in the stands with my kids I would have been outraged.
Seriously.
Let me make my case further. Let's say you spent hundreds of dollars so that you and your kids (let's make them 8 & 10) can enjoy your favorite stars play on Stadium 1. Let's say you are all sitting there and during nearly every change-over they throw on S&M. How are you not out of your mind about it? Hmm, maybe you need to see some lyrics? Please, read:
Cause I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it. Sex in the air, but I don't care, I love the smell of it. Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me.
Really Sony Ericsson? Really?
