Belgrade ATP 250 - Quarterfinal
1 Novak Djokovic d Blaz Kavcic - 63 62
Blah blah blah, Novak is still undefeated this year, blah blah...
Yesterday he received the highest honor from the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Novak was decorated - Order of Saint Sava of the first degree.
First might very well factor into his ranking soon.
Novak: This award is certainly the most important I’ve ever got. As an athlete & a religious person, it is hard for me to find appropriate words to describe my feelings of gratitude for the confidence I gain from the Holy Synod. I can only say that it can be earned only with hard work and self-belief, belief in your loved ones and in God.

Rafael Nadal Receives Juan Antonio Samaranch Prize
Roger Federer may have more titles & Slams than Rafa (for now)...
But I'm willing to bet Rafa has tons more 'special' awards.
I think they invent them for him just to get him to come to an event.
Yesterday he added the Juan Antonio Samaranch Prize in Madrid.
Something about sportmanship and all-around sporting values.
Anyway, Rafa will begin defense of his Madrid title next week.
He has a ton of points to defend thru Wimbledon, Novak has very few...
The battle for #1 is hotting up folks. This might get good real soon.
