Wayne says, "The sole reason I was possessing a banned substance was under doctors advice for treatment of recurring shoulder injury. I never took it."

Today the ITF banned this bozo for 2 years and in a statement had this to say, "Mr. Odesnik did not in fact obtain or apply for a therapeutic use exemption ... prior to obtaining it. Accordingly, Mr. Odesnik's possession of the human growth hormone is an anti-doping rule violation."

24 year-old American Wayne Odesnik (currently ranked #98) pled guilty for attempting to smuggle 8 vials of HGH into Australia as he tried to enter for the tournament at Brisbane in January.

Buh-bye Wayne.

His case now goes to the International Tennis Federation which will certainly hand down the maximum sentence - a two-year suspension.
