He's defending a Sf at SW19 - and should easily be able to repeat that.

Unless Wimby farts up a #5 seeding for Rafa and they meet in the Qf's.

Juan Martin Del Potro Meets Pope Francis

It's like an Argentine brotherhood.

DelPo: It was an incredible experience with Pope Francis, something

that I'll never forget. It was a dream come true for a guy like me.

It was an unforgettable moment. I was very nervous before meeting him,

to be able to congratulate him and talk with him. He was nice. Everybody

knows he is very humble. Today was a day that I'll remember for ever.

Further: He recognised me and that surprised me.

We talked for a few seconds. He told me that he knew I was playing at

the tournament in Rome, he blessed me and wished me the best.

I congratulated him and thanked him for the opportunity to talk to him.

With Andy & Jo-W going out today Roger is the best bet to be in the final.

The Radwanska Sisters Giving Back

Here is a great photo of Agnieszka & Urszula in Krakow giving back.

They went shopping for two single-mother households for the holidays.

Aggie: These families are in a particularly difficult situation,

because a single mother cares for all of her children and

they really need some help.

Urszula: The shopping list was very long,

but we weren't concerned about that or the money -

all we wanted for these people was to maintain basic living standards,

especially in the Christmas season.

Grigor finished the year at a career-high #48.

He has yet to play in an ATP final. I think that will change in 2013.

He won 5 straight titles then skipped it in '10 and the won again last year.

He opens against Garcia-Lopez and drew (5) Tipsarevic in his quarter.

If on form his Sf opponent will be (8) Nishikori or '10 champ (9) Verdasco.

This is the time of year Rafa fans relish...
