Queen's Club becomes the 1st tourney where Andy has collected 3 titles.

He could not have asked for better Wimbledon prep.

Post match: I feel good. I'm a bit tired. Because of the weather it's been

mentally a quite draining week. I'll probably take a day off tomorrow and

start hitting on Tuesday, quite light, and get myself fresh, work on a

couple of things in the build-up to Wimbledon.

Lleyton Hewitt Thru to Semifinals at Queen's Club

Someone is busy turning back the clock to his glory years.

Remember: Lleyton is a 4-time champion here: '00-'02 & '06.

At 32 he's looking to become the tournies oldest winner as well.

He'll next face the defender 5 Marin Cilic in the Sf's - H2H: 1-0/Lleyton.

The only time they played was last year at the London Games.

So Lleyton's gotta feel good about his match tomorrow...

Post match: Cilic is going to be another tough one, very similar to my

match against [Sam] Querrey yesterday and against del Potro today.

In terms of that, I have had good preparation for playing him,

but, he's the defending champ here.

Andy Murray Wins 2 Matches Today to Gain Quarterfinals at Queens Club

He's baaaaa-ack.

After a little injury layoff he's back on the grass at Queen's Club.

Tho he didn't play the French Open his ranking actually improved to #2.

But he's got lots of grass court points to defend. Or not...

He's got 1200 runner-up points to defend at Wimbledon and...

He's got 750 points just being erased because he can't defend the Olympics.

Also interesting to note - his home Slam may bump him to 3rd seed.

Federer may have the funky Wimby seeding formula in his favor.

Let's see if they have the nerve!

David Nalbandian Assaults Line Judge and is Defaulted in Final at Queens CLub

Wow... This is unreal.

Police: A complaint has been made and the Metropolitan Police Service...

Is now investigating. The allegation is of assault.

The lines judge was left was a bloodied one inch gash in his leg.

David was immediately disqualified and will recieve no prize money.

A suspension would be nice too. Dick head.

Andy's Murray & Roddick Both Lose Early at Queen's Club

And just like that we lost the 2 men who've won 6 of the last 9 titles here.

Murray won it in '09 and last year - Roddick in '03-'05 & '07.

Murray needs to figure out his game and fast cuz it's double trouble for him.

Great Britain is looking to him to win Wimbledon AND the Olympics.

Roddick? Well, he's been floundering for a while now.

And starting to get dogged in pressers about retirement.

UGH. Why can't they just leave players alone with that?

Andy Murray at Wimbledon - Can He Finally Win?

Here we go again. Will the British finally get their a champ?

This will be Andy's 6th attempt at SW19 - he has a W/L of 19-5.

He has been a Sf'ist the last 2 years - losing to the champion Rafa in '10.

This morning, as expected, he was seeded #4.

Grass title: He is coming off of a win last week at the Queen's Club.

Can Andy become the latest man to win the Queen's-Wimbledon double?

The pressure mounts.

Pippa Middleton Attends Rainy Day at Queen's Club

Ah, so it's the sister that's gonna have all the fun.

Yea P, we all hate those rain delays.

So she was spotted at Roland Garros and now Queen's Club.

They better get her seat ready in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.

Don't worry P, there's a roof there.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Upsets Rafael Nadal in the Quarterfinals at Queen's Club

If we're being honest Jo-W downed a very tired Rafa today.

In fact, Rafa is probably glad he lost today - time to rest for Wimbledon.

Not to take anything away from Jo-W he played well to take advantage.

Reminiscent of Boris Becker Jo-W was diving all over the court today.

In a tournament surprise he will play wildcard James Ward in the Sf's.

Now if only the rains will stay away.

Andy Roddick Moves into Quarterfinals at Queen's Club

Hey, nice to see Andy string together (at least) a semifinal run this week.

But those ankle socks...

Andy is looking for his 5th title here.

To get it he will have to take care of the other Andy (Murray) tomorrow.

It can be done.

Anyone else smell one more decent run at Wimbledon?

Novak Djokovic Wins Doubles Title at Queen's Club

Novak Djokovic & Jonathan Erlich d Beck & Skoch - 67 62 (10-3)

This Novak's very 1st doubles title.

In singles Novak has only been to 1 final this year - winning in Dubai.

This is the 2nd time in '10 a top 10 singles player wins in doubles: Rafa in IW.

Novak sure looks great winning again, doesn't he?

It sure will be nice when he starts winning singles titles again.

Sam Querrey Wins Prestigious Title at Queen's Club

8 Sam Querrey d Mardy Fish - 76(3) 75

Sam bags his 3rd title of 2010 - 5th of his career - and 1st on grass.

His '10 titles won on 3 different surfaces: Houston (hard) & Belgrade (Clay).

Tho it's but an ATP 250 event this is the biggest title of Sam's career.

The win will move Sam up to #21. Wimbledon will seed him much higher.

Here is a big heads up:

Queen's Club is often referred to as a breeding ground for Wimby champions.

Sam Querrey & Mardy Fish to Play for Queens Club Title

7 Sam Querrey vs Mardy Fish - H2H: 0-1

Mardy's win came in '07 on the hardcourts in Los Angeles.

Sam is looking for his 3rd title of '10 - to add to Memphis & Belgrade.

Sam can't add very many points here even with a win tomorrow...

Let's hope Wimbledon bumps his seeding within the top 16.

Mardy is ranked #90. A loss gets him up to about #70 - a win about #50.

1994 was the last time 2 American played for the Queen's Club title:

Todd Martin defeated Pete Sampras in a pair of tiebreak sets.

8 Feliciano Lopez vs Mardy Fish - H2H: 2-2

Mardy has the last 2 wins - including here last year in the round of 16.

This is Mardy's 3rd semi of the year: 0-2.

This is Feliciano's 2nd semi in '10 following his title in Johannesburg.

Feli has the better grass court record with 2 Sf showing at Wimbledon.

Rainer's win was earlier this year in the 1st round of the Australian Open.

This marks the 1st time he has been past the round of 16 all year.

The 34 year-old Rainer is a former Wimbledon semifinalist in '08.

Sam is playing in his 6th semi for '10 - he is 3-2 (including 2 titles).

He has yet to impact a Slam - he's played 15 & been to the 4th round once.

That is due to change any time now.

Rafael Nadal Loses Singles then Pulls from Doubles with Injury at Queen's Club

1. Another incredible day, with Murray and Nadal both losing. Unfortunately Rafa has been forced to withdraw from doubles.

2. He has a right hamstring injury, but expects to make a good recovery. Plans to go back to Mallorca and put his racquets down for a few days.

Best idea yet. He should never have played there in the first place. Go home and go fishing for a couple days. Get some well deserved rest. We'll catch up with you at Wimbledon!

Rafael Nadal Upset in Quarterfinal at Queen's Club

Hey all you Rafa-natics, be happy he lost today - now hear me out...

Your man just produced the greatest clay season in recent memory (ever?).

Going from clay on Sunday to grass on Wednesday - that's a tough ask.

And he just came off a grueling 4 hour 3rd round match.

A loss today gives him a few extra days of needed rest ahead of Wimbledon.

He's still in the doubles and can get some more match practice in.

Frankly, I was surprised he played - but this loss should work in his favor.

Btw, Rafa has been to the Qfs of all 9 tourneys played in '10 - losing only 2.

Ok, now go rest up - have a few nice dinners & maybe take in a show.

I hear Billy Elliott is nice.

Rafael Nadal Wins Tough 3rd Round at Queen's Club

That was one looooong rain delated four hour match.

Did someone forget that he move on to grass court tennis?

Understandable - he must be (at the very least) emotional exhausted.

I doubt he's expecting to win this thing - just getting his grass feet.

But let's not forget he pulled of a rare triple tournament title run of...

Roland Garros - Queen's Club - Wimbledon in 2008.

And that was the last time he played on grass - until yesterday.

Additionally, Rafa is currently enjoying a 24 match winning streak.

The Men's Tour Heads to Queen's Club & Halle this Week

Rafa & Roger won these events the last time they played them in '08.

Rafa skipped last year owing to injury. Roger to celebrate his RG win.

Andy Murray won Queen's Club & Tommy Haas in Halle a year ago.
