Having won Stuttgart last week Janko is on a 7 match win streak.
He advances to his 3rd final of '12: 1-1 and 10th career final: 3-6.
He will play Thomaz Bellucci - H2H: 1-1. They played a 3-setter last week.
One more day at the office and then Janko will head to the London Games.
He posted the photo above of his ice bath to Facebook a couple days ago.

The 2-time champ lost the 1st 4 games before finding his game.
Post match: I think today I didn't play my best match.
I think especially in the first set, I played [a] little bit too nervous...
Not knowing exactly what to do.
My movement was a little bit in defensive way, not in aggressive way.
The second and third sets I played better...
Even if I had a big mistake in the third at 2-0, 30/0.
I felt in that moment I started to hit better the forehand.
That's the most important thing for me.
Remember: Rafa is looking for a 6th straight final at Wimby.
Should he get there it'd be his 6th straight Slam final: 2-3.
Rafa has a bit of a tricky draw - but don't we say that every year?

Fun match today as David tried to hand Novak his 1st loss of the season.
He did manage to take (only) the 7th set off Novak this year.
Novak extends his "best start of the year" to 30-0. 3rd best of Open Era.
He is second only to John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg.
This is Novak's 3rd trip to the Madrid Sf's: 0-2 & 22nd Masters Sf: 13-8.
5 titles for '011: Novak is looking to gain his 6th consecutive final.
He will next play Thomaz Bellucci - H2H: 1-0/ND.
I'd expect that streak to extend to 31-0 by days-end tomorrow.

Playing in his 19th Masters 1000 event Thomaz makes his first semifinal.
I've been waiting a while for the Brazilian to make some noise.
He will play the winner of Djokovic/Ferrer.
Currently ranked #36 - a Sf result will bump him up to around #23.
That's great news seedings-wise as the tour heads toward the French.

I love these promotional gimmicks and Costa do Sauipe looks quite nice.
It'll be interesting to see if Dolgopolov will continue his winning form here.
He has a good draw & is in Montanes half. Is his 1st final in the offing?

Post match: Gstaad is very special for me...
Because I won my first title here three years ago...
Which was a surprise and unexpected.
For me to win one more time here is very special.
I feel very comfortable here, like I’m playing at home.
The win will bump him 20 spots in the rankings to about #40.
Not a bad week.
The London Games is next for both boys. Enjoy. I will.
